The Niro 1000

This excellent virtual surround sound system packs it all into one unit. Enough to fill out a large room more than adequately, the Niro 1000 combines 5 speakers into one neat unit and comes with an outstanding subwoofer that picks up bass frequencies as low as 35hz. Niro 1000 produces a combined output of 200W, which is driven by a compact, energy efficient receiver unit, featuring a quietly spinning fan, which can run at variable speeds.

The Niro 1000, being the top of the Niro Range, provides a high end listening experience and does away with unnecessary expense and headaches of placing multiple speakers effectively in a home theatre space. The speaker unit is best suited for 40-60 inch TV screens and due to its small size can easily be placed centrally on top of the screen providing a full surround sound experience. The speakers within the unit are placed in-line and minimize sound crossover to allow accurate and dynamic sound reproduction.

Niro MovieMouse

The MovieMouse is an optional speaker unit that can be connected to any of the NIRO single speaker surround sound systems. It enables you to enjoy the full excitement of 5.1-channel surround sound without generating high sound levels that might disturb the neighbors. As such, it is the ultimate "late night"personal movie sound accessory. Like other NIRO system main speaker units, the MovieMouse contains five individual drivers. However, it is designed specifically to be placed about 2 to 3 feet in front of you... on a coffee table, an ottoman, the bed, etc. It creates a superb, fully immersive surround sound experience for one person, although the effect will also be very good for two people seated close together. The MovieMouse can even be used for stereo reproduction - perfect for unobtrusive, high-quality background music.
